It’s Lynne Howard, friend. As Team LBR’s Campaign Treasurer, I wanted to give you a quick update on where things stand.

Delaware has finalized their Primary Election results, and we couldn’t be more proud of how Democrats showed up and made their voice heard! Up and down the ballot, we have some amazing candidates lined up to help keep Delaware blue.

But with the primary season over and the last end-of-quarter deadline before Election Day one week away, things are about to get significantly harder for us all. Republicans are making their final push to try to turn President Biden’s home state red – and the only way to stop them is to make sure our campaign is fully funded to fend off their attacks.

Here’s where you come in. September is the first month post-primary that our campaign numbers will go public. We need to post a strong enough number to show Republicans we mean business. The primary may have just ended, but our rush to hit our fundraising goals has just started. Can I count on you to pitch in $10 right away to make sure September is our best fundraising month yet?

Here’s the problem: many states with early primaries have a lot of time to recoup the costs of their races, and gear up for an Election Day showdown. But with Delaware’s primary happening just a month and a half before November’s big race, our window to get our campaign back up to speed is drastically reduced.

We have to make sure Lisa knows she has our support until the very end. But we can’t do it without your help. If we want to keep Lisa fighting for us in Washington, then we need to pick up the pace immediately.

I know we tell you every deadline is important, but this month’s goal is truly our most important yet. How we show up post-primary will set the tone for the entire rest of the 2022 campaign season. So before September ends and our numbers go public, can I count on you to chip in $10 or whatever you can afford to help our campaign level up before Election Day?
