Hi, friend, it's Adam Schiff, and in a moment, I'm going to ask you to donate to my friend, Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, so she can win her extremely close race in Nevada. But first, I want to explain why this moment is so important.

Our democracy is at an inflection point with all our future progress hinging on this November's midterm elections. And we stand zero chance of defending our Democratic Senate majority if Catherine loses in Nevada.

Every media outlet from CNN to The New York Times says Catherine is the most vulnerable Democrat this cycle. That's why GOP extremists are going all-in to defeat her. Mitch McConnell and his allies are spending nearly $50 million and counting on vicious attack ads, and everyone from Ted Cruz to Ron DeSantis to Donald Trump himself has come to Nevada to campaign for her opponent.

Despite everything she's up against, a recent poll shows Catherine pulling within 1 point of her far-right opponent, and I know that if we all work together to keep up this momentum, we can make sure she wins this race. That's why I'm personally asking, friend: Will you chip in $5, or whatever you can spare, right now to help Catherine keep Nevada blue and defend our Democratic Senate majority?

As the first woman from Nevada and the first Latina in our entire country elected to the U.S. Senate, Catherine is exactly the kind of leader Nevadans, and all Americans, desperately need. Her opponent, Adam Laxalt, on the other hand, is a dangerous extremist who led Donald Trump's efforts to overturn Nevada's 2020 election results. He remains closely tied to Trump, who has held Mar-a-Lago fundraisers and MAGA rallies to support him, and the thought of him tipping the balance in the Senate toward Mitch McConnell and the GOP, quite frankly, terrifies me.

In short, I have complete faith in Catherine to do what's right for Nevadans, Americans and our democracy. That's why I've promised to do everything I can to help Catherine win this toss-up race, starting with reaching her $25,000 goal before midnight tonight. And I'm counting on grassroots Democrats, including you, friend, to join me.
