This week, the House passed the bipartisan Securing Global Telecommunications Act I led with Rep. Manning to prioritize the security of our networks and ensure the United States continues leading in global telecommunications standards. We cannot let China or Russia write the rules of the road for our networks. I'm glad we could get this bill one step closer to the finish line! Learn More. Team Young had a blast at the Rotary Club of Placentia’s 13th Annual Cowabunga BBQ N' Beer Festival. Over the years, Cowabunga has raised more than $160,000 to invest in community projects and scholarships for Placentia students in need. Despite our bipartisan plea to prevent Iranian President Raisi from receiving a U.S. visa, President Biden turned a blind eye to the Iranian regime’s cruel atrocities. Meanwhile, the Iranian people are peacefully protesting for their freedoms following the recent death of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old who died after Iran’s morality police detained her for not wearing a hijab. As a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, I'm following this situation closely and rallying with the people of Iran as they pursue a better future. Watch here. Welcome back to Yorba Linda, Wild Birds Unlimited! Great to recognize owners Jeff and Amy Nepsa and wish them well at their grand re-opening. Find Small Business Resources. My team loved hearing from Tim Mead, a former President of the Baseball Hall of Fame and a former executive of the Angels at Brea Mayor's prayer breakfast. When we unite behind a common cause, there is nothing we can't do! Thank you to all the great speakers and performers. The STEP Improvement Act allows small businesses to grow and expand into new markets by facilitating more exports of American goods and services. I’m proud to join Reps. Newman, Flood and Evans in this bipartisan effort to strengthen our U.S. supply chains, and grateful to my Small Business Committee colleagues for supporting our bill. Learn More. It's a brew-tiful day to celebrate working together! Thank you to Anheuser-Busch for hosting Brew Across America in the spirit of bipartisanship. Rep. Lou Correa and I enjoyed sharing a taste of sunny Southern California from Golden Road Brewing in Anaheim with our colleagues. Congrats to Cal State University, Fullerton students Robert Delatorre, Dawson Gresch, Danielle Torres, Viet Tran and Hang Song for earning the rank of officer in our U.S. Army! My team was honored to witness their commissioning ceremony, “butter bar” pinning and first salute. Team Young recognized 10 mothers for their service to the community. ¡Felicidades! Welcome to La Habra, Yoga Six! This unique studio offers six sensory yoga classes that include relaxing sights, sounds and colors for all. Namaste!
