FEC deadlines are a big deal. Every campaign is required by law to report their fundraising numbers to the Federal Election Commission. Then, those numbers are made public for everyone to see. Needless to say, Republicans will read these numbers like tea leaves. If they spot weakness, they’ll pour even MORE money into our district for my opponent. 

But more importantly this deadline is a big deal because we’re counting on these numbers to fund our GOTV strategy. Every weekend in October, we will be out canvassing across NJ-11 – from Livingston to Parsippany to Wayne. That’s all made possible by your generosity.
