On *Monday,?*Governor Mike DeWine?announced?a partnership between?six fellow governors in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin [ [link removed] ] to collaborate on developing a robust hydrogen market, supply chain, and workforce across the Midwest by signing the Midwest Hydrogen Coalition Memorandum of Understanding (M-H2 Coalition MOU).

"Ohio has always been a leader in innovation and technology, and this partnership will be the start of a new era of energy production that will create jobs and grow our economy," said Governor DeWine. "This is just the beginning of our support for a clean hydrogen market, and we look forward to relationships?like the one announced today developing and expanding in the Buckeye State."

Blockchain and Bitcoin data center [ [link removed] ]

Also on *Monday*, Lt. Governor Jon Husted provided remarks at an event celebrating the opening of a new blockchain and Bitcoin data center in Coshocton.

The Lt. Governor joined blockchain and data center company, Standard Power, as they cut the ribbon for a blockchain mining and data center in the city of Coshocton.

On *Friday*,?Governor DeWine joined General Motors for an economic development announcement. The company announced that it will be investing??$760 million at its Toledo propulsion manufacturing operations to prepare the facility for production of drive units that will be used in future Ultium-based battery electric trucks.?

2nd round wellness grants [ [link removed] ]

Lastly on *Friday [ [link removed] ]*,?Governor DeWine announced that 20 local first responder agencies will receive a total of $7.7 million to help them boost their staffing levels to ensure thorough coverage for emergency response.

The grants represent the second round of the?new?Ohio First Responder Recruitment, Retention, and Resilience Program [ [link removed] ]. To date, Governor DeWine has awarded $9.4 million to 46 Ohio agencies as part of this program, which supports wellness needs of first responders such as stress and burnout caused by understaffing.

?By helping our first responder agencies bring their staffing levels up, we hope to ease some of the stress on current staff who are taking on added responsibilities,? said Governor DeWine.?
