Hi Friend,
I want to see a $500 tax credit in the pockets of hardworking Michiganders. In July of this year when prices at the grocery store and gas pump were skyrocketing, I introduced the MI Pocketbook Plan in the House along with Representative Jim Haadsma.
The legislation grants a $500 tax credit for those filing taxes individually with an income of less than $125,000 or for those filing jointly with an income of less than $250,000.

We’ve all seen inflation firsthand and it hurts. I’ve got a family and it’s hurting us too. Those who work day after day are struggling to make ends meet and retirees who worked for years are seeing their funds run thin. I want to help real people, right now, not tomorrow and not the next day.
But Lansing Republicans don't think inflation is a problem. We’ve got a record budget surplus, billions in federal funds sitting on the balance sheet and a rainy day fund approaching $2 billion, but Republicans will not consider any further budget bills this year. They complain about inflation, but they’re not willing to do anything about it!
I want action and that’s exactly what you’ll get if I’m re-elected. I’ll finish what I started and get relief for Michiganders. Will you consider donating [[link removed]] so I can push for inflation relief?
In Solidarity,
Nate
