Alexandria’s willingness to ask the questions other people don’t consider led to a new lawsuit against Trump.
When Alexandria interviewed to join the House Oversight Committee after she was first elected in 2018, the then-chairman asked her:
“Are you willing to do the work?”
Four years later, the answer is clear. Alexandria’s question lines in committee hearings have brought results — from pressuring a Big Pharma company to lower the price of a prescription drug to forcing defense contractors to return taxpayer money. And this week — we had another win!
Alexandria’s questioning of Trump's former fixer and attorney Michael Cohen on the Oversight Committee led to a new $250 million lawsuit this week against Trump and his adult children.
Through Alexandria’s questioning, Michael Cohen revealed that the former president fraudulently inflated the value of his assets. This evidence was explicitly cited as the reason why New York Attorney General Letitia James brought forth this new lawsuit.1
This example, and numerous others, proves without a doubt that Alexandria is willing to do the work and that she is a better politician and strategic thinker than many give her credit for.
Her willingness to ask the questions other people don’t consider led to this lawsuit against Trump.
Let’s show our appreciation for Alexandria and free up her time so she can prepare for her next round of groundbreaking questioning. If you’re able to, can you pitch in $3 today?

We appreciate all of you for helping build this movement and making sure we have the resources to send Alexandria back to Congress so she can continue her great work.
In solidarity,
