This plan is in direct contrast to the Democrats’ agenda of rampant inflation, a raging border crisis, a weaponized deep state that targets the American people, including hiring 87,000 additional IRS agents, and a future that is uncertain.
Case in point, the Dow Jones tumbled below 30,000 points today, as fears grow that a nationwide recession is looming. As the stock market takes yet another dive, grocery bills skyrocket, and the price of gas continues to fluctuate – Democrats in the White House are throwing yet another party.
This evening, Elton John will perform at the White House South Lawn, all on the taxpayer’s dime. This is the second party celebrating Biden’s achievements in the last month, while Americans suffer under the weight of this administration’s hubris.
Reports from inside the White House say that the President is “irritated” with the crisis on the southern border. If only the administration was “irritated” by the hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants coming into the country every single month.
Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy said in a statement this week that he will not support any new government funding bills until the Biden Administration gets serious about stopping the 3.5 million illegal border crossings that’ve occurred this year, which is more than the entire population of Chicago.
I agree with the Leader - House Republicans must say no to a government spending bill until there is meaningful action to close our southern border.
Additionally, during the President’s recent 60 Minutes Interview, he declared victory against the Covid pandemic and stated the situation is “over.” After years of tyrannical executive actions, unconstitutional vaccine mandates, years of learning loss for our kids who were locked out of schools, and thousands of Americans fired because they refused the adhere to this administration’s mandates, this rings hollow, as if it were political theater.
We cannot allow this President to keep writing blank checks on behalf of the American people while illegal immigrants continue to pour across the border and our freedoms are curtailed. House Republicans must hold their ground and stand for freedom.
