John, Mike Flood just voted against free and fair elections.

On Wednesday, the House passed a set of bipartisan electoral reforms that would prevent members of Congress from derailing the presidential certification process with objections that aren't based on legitimate concerns — and Mike Flood voted no along with the extremists in his own party.
This shows us everything we need to know about Mike Flood and his agenda.
Instead of working to protect our country from future attacks like we saw on January 6, 2021, he’s joining Kevin McCarthy to sow distrust in the most fundamental part of our democracy: our election process.
His justification for voting against our democracy? “Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi would rather relitigate the past than solve the problems facing us today…” Mike Flood knows full well that investigations take time and our democracy is fragile.
It seems that while my opponent has been in Congress, he’s been ignoring the ongoing January 6th hearings held by his colleagues.
People died on January 6th. Dedicated members of law enforcement have been forced to find new careers due to the trauma endured by protecting our nation’s elected officials.
This vote and his statement prove that Mike Flood is unwilling to protect our democracy — or our votes.
It seems clear to me that his focus is on scoring brownie points with his party leaders. His unwillingness to protect our elections is dangerous. And John, we have to vote him out of office this November.
I support the Presidential Election Reform Act because I’ve seen how our former president’s attacks have divided our great nation. I believe that our democracy is sacred, and if we want to keep it intact, I know that we have to support measures that will strengthen our commitment to free and fair elections.
I’m going to unseat Mike Flood this November because enough is enough. He’s shown us with vote after vote how extreme his agenda really is, and folks, our district deserves better. If you’re with me, please make a donation of any amount today so we have the resources we need to win:

Mike Flood had the opportunity to stand up for what’s right by our country. Instead, he decided to march in lockstep with his party bosses. As your next Congresswoman, I will always stand up for what’s right by our nation — even if it means I have to stand alone. It’s the type of leadership the Nebraskans and the American people deserve.
Onward,
Patty Pansing Brooks
