Carlos Guillermo Smith’s race is one of the most competitive state house races in Florida. The GOP knows this is one of their top chances to secure a Republican super-majority in the legislature, so they’re sparing no expense to defeat him.

The Florida GOP wants to replace him with a DeSantis loyalist who will fall in line with his destructive agenda – someone who will do the gun lobby’s bidding, vote to pass a full-out ban on abortion, and further marginalize the LGBTQ community.
