ASSOCIATION OF EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURERS  I had an excellent conversation with the Association of Equipment Manufacturers to discuss American manufacturing competitiveness, precision agriculture advancements, and workforce matters. Equipment manufacturers are critical to our economy, supporting 132,000 jobs and generating $13.7 billion in economic activity in Iowa.

The Clay County fair attendance saw a 17.4% increase with a total of 325,585 attendees. Spending on food and carnival rides hit an all-time high of $2,833,943.
