JOHN, I’m not joking – my opponent, Nicole Malliotakis, has gone so far as to vote to the right of Mitch McConnell on critical issues to our future. We have a real chance of unseating her this November.

Let’s start with Nicole Malliotakis’s inability to accept the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. She sided with some of the most far-right members of the House by voting in favor of contesting the states’ electors and by loudly spreading falsehoods about election fraud. The majority of Americans would agree that accepting the results of a democratic election isn’t that hard.

When Nicole had the chance to lower prescription drug prices by voting for the Inflation Reduction Act, she refused. Meanwhile, too many people across our district are struggling to pay their bills, afford groceries, and pay for the medicine they need to live. What on earth is so difficult about making life-saving medicine more affordable to those who need it?

Nicole Malliotakis has no interest in protecting reproductive rights. She voted against codifying Roe v. Wade twice and voted against protecting access to contraception. Oh, and who could forget her vote to allow for the prosecution of women and girls who cross state lines to receive an abortion? Who even votes for that kind of cruel punishment?

JOHN, this is all to say that Nicole Malliotakis is a ‘Yea’ vote that radical far-right extremists can count on. When elected, the only interests I will be indebted to are those of my constituents.

We can defeat the radical far right’s agenda in Washington, but it’s going to start with winning this election. Will you take a moment to chip in to my campaign and help us flip NY-11 blue?
