Thank you to all who were able to join us for the Coalition to Prevent Lead Poisoning's 2022 Annual Meeting!

Participants enjoyed a presentation from our keynote speaker, Dr. David Jacobs, Chief Scientist at the National Center for Healthy Housing. Dr. Jacobs shared information and lead a discussion on "Reforming the 1992 Federal Lead Paint Law: How to Improve It 30 Years Later." 

We heard from our partners at the Monroe County Department of Public Health who gave a report on the elevated blood lead testing data from 2021. More information and the 2021 data can be accessed on the County's website by clicking the button below.

Our meeting also included presentations of our 2022 certificates of appreciation to various partners dedicated to lead poisoning prevention, including three longtime champions in our field who are retiring this year.
