Dear John

As 2019 draws to a close, it’s time to reflect on the successes we’ve achieved
together.

It’s been a big year for our countryside.

I’m delighted to report that, with your wonderful support, we’ve made some giant
strides in our work to promote, enhance, and protect our green spaces for
everyone.

We’ve put some of the highlights into a short film which we’re very pleased to
share with you today. Click the image below to play.

From standing firm against fracking to supporting our dedicated farmers, from
tackling litter to recycling land rather than wasting it, we’ve come a long way
in 12 months, and I hope you feel proud of the crucial part you played in our
journey.

With so much political change ahead, it’s vital that we continue to be a strong
voice for the countryside in 2020. We’re glad to have you on our side - who
knows what we’ll achieve together next year?

Watch on YouTube [[link removed]]On behalf of everyone at CPRE, the countryside charity, I wish you a wonderful
festive season and I hope you have the chance to enjoy the beautiful countryside
you helped thrive this year.

With all our thanks and best wishes for 2020.

Yours sincerely

Crispin Truman
