1) Remember When Biden Said He Would Rebuild Our Middle Class? When Exactly?
We reported last month that the Biden inflation and anti-America energy policies have cost the average family $3,000. The latest numbers have just been crunched by CTUP and Heritage economist E.J. Antoni. Now the number is an average purchasing power loss of $4,200 per family. This is a pay cut for a 40-hour-a-week worker of $340 a month. Have a good weekend anyway.

2) Manchin's Permitting Bill Finally Revealed - But Will It Ever Pass?
The deal that West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin struck with Dem Senate leader Chuck Schumer was always a farce. Now we have the details of the drilling portion of the deal and they only further confirm that Manchin got rolled is confirmed.

The White House endorsed the bill but the far-left is predictably throwing up roadblocks to any fossil fuel projects and especially Manchin's pet project – the Mountain Valley Pipeline to carry natural gas between West Virginia and Virginia – is approved by the bill.

Meanwhile, the Biden EPA and the Interior Department are putting up every imaginable regulatory barrier to new gas and coal projects.

Manchin may have to threaten to shut down the government to get what he was promised – but we’re not even convinced he even wants to press his case – except when he’s in his favorite place on earth – in front of a TV camera. Manchin has proven to be a turncoat against his own state and polling in West Virginia indicates that the voters are finally on to this fraud.

3) Trump Deregulation V. Biden Re-Regulation
Paul Ray, Donald Trump’s deregulation czar, has run the numbers on the economic windfall from the Trump crusade to roll back costly regulations. His calculation is roughly $190 billion in savings to businesses and consumers.

That’s the good news. But Ray now estimates that just the first year costs of Biden’s re-regulation initiatives will cost the economy $200 billion. Biden has already erased ALL of the Trump efficiency gains from deregulation.

So sad. And yet another of a multitude of reasons the wheels are coming off the economy.

4) NYC Mayor: "I Don't Think Anything Dealing With COVID Makes Sense"
It is unusual for an elected official to be so forthright about his own cluelessness.

NYC mayor Eric Adams was asked why he's keeping his "no vax no job" order on for government workers and gave this response:

We love to say we told you so: the World Economic Forum admits outright that COVID lockdowns and propaganda campaigns were a trial-run for a truly dystopian climate agenda. These people just love “collective action.”
