In exactly one week, we'll close the books on our FINAL quarterly fundraising deadline before Election Day. After this deadline hits, two things happen:
1.) We're legally required to submit our numbers to the FEC.
2.) Our report will go
public for all to see.
Everyone will be watching closely, and our fundraising numbers will be compared directly against our Republican opponent Esther King’s. Last quarter, we reported having just $100,000 after spending down in a competitive primary. King had $1.8 million.
It's crucial that we have a strong showing this time -- not just to continue funding our campaign, but to send a message that grassroots enthusiasm behind our campaign is still growing.
We set an ambitious goal that’s sure to turn heads and make a statement if we can hit it. But with one week left, we need to see a lot of donations come in right now to do this.
