A few weeks ago, President Biden signed the CHIPS and Science Act into law, breathing new life into the U.S. economy and creating good-paying jobs for tens of thousands of Americans.
Federal investment in American manufacturing is long overdue and I am proud to help deliver the resources they need to be revitalized.
The CHIPS and Science Act will establish twenty technological and innovation hubs across the country and incentivize businesses to research, develop, and manufacture semiconductors in America. When more things are made in America, supply goes up, prices go down, and more stable jobs are created in our communities.
Our investments in American technology and innovation will ensure that we remain competitive on a global scale. We will bring businesses and their factories back to America where they can contribute to our economy and boost our middle class.
We are bringing factories back to America – no longer will we ship off those good-paying jobs overseas.
