Leora Levy Calls Biden-Blumenthal Border Broken After 78 Terrorists Apprehended
GREENWICH, CT - Earlier this week, Customs and Border Protection data revealed 78 known individuals from the Department of Homeland Security’s terrorist watch list have been apprehended trying to illegally cross into the United States within the past year. This development comes almost two weeks after Vice President Kamala Harris erroneously claimed the border was secure.
Candidate for U.S. Senate, Leora Levy, issued a statement condemning Biden and Blumenthal for creating this issue at the southern border and making all Americans less safe.
“There is an invasion at our southern border making all of us less safe. What does my opponent do about it? He rubberstamps Biden’s failed agenda time and again, voting for foolish policies like canceling already funded contracts to build the wall which would help stop deadly drugs, dangerous gang members, human traffickers and terrorists from entering our country.
“Biden and Blumenthal invited this invasion with their open border policies and lack of accountability. Our border is open and our immigration system is broken. This humanitarian crisis was created by Biden’s and Blumenthal’s radical far-left policies. Americans value public safety and national security. They know we must stop this invasion! This is a dangerous, unsustainable, self-inflicted disaster. It is time for new leadership. Connecticut voters know that I will be a strong champion to secure our border, support law enforcement and end this invasion.”
