Friend: Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) teams are facing a staggering number of child malnutrition cases in countries including Nigeria, Somalia, and Afghanistan. The number of acutely hungry people has shot up 25 percent since the beginning of 2022, and if we don’t act now, thousands of lives could be at risk.
MSF is determined to meet the mounting needs of malnourished children worldwide—and we’re counting on your support to help us save lives. In northwest Nigeria, we’re ramping up our operations to be ready to treat over 100,000 malnourished children this year. And in Somalia and Afghanistan our teams are responding to spiking cases of malnutrition among children.
--- All gifts given, up to $575,000, will be doubled through 11:59 p.m. EDT on September 29. Every dollar you give will be matched with $1. Gifts received after the match has been met will not be matched but will be used where needed most.
