As North Texas continues to recover from recent severe storms and flooding, I wanted to provide some newly available resources for folks who were impacted. The Small Business Association (SBA) is now offering low interest loans to North Texans whose homes or businesses were damaged by floodwaters.

Those impacted can apply online at https://disasterloanassistance.sba.gov/ or call the SBA’s Customer Service Center at 800-659-2955. Two Disaster Loan Outreach Centers have also opened in the Samuell-Grand Recreation Center and Balch Springs Recreation Center. The centers offer one-on-one, walk-in assistance Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
