My team’s going to be sending a few more emails than usual, but please don’t ignore them – we have a good reason.

The end of this month marks the close of the final FEC fundraising quarter before Election Day – to keep our campaign operations funded through the election, we need to make sure we hit our $30,000 fundraising goal next week.

FEC deadlines are a key indicator of the strength of a campaign, and everyone from election analysts to my GOP opponent and his right-wing backers will be watching our fundraising numbers very closely for signs of any potential weakness.

We need to signal that we have the momentum in this race, so we’re going to be emailing a bit more frequently this week in an effort to ramp up our fundraising efforts.
