First and foremost, I want to thank you for being a part of this campaign—I mean it when I say that we can’t win this thing without you.

But, folks, I’m coming to you with a bit of bad news: we’re running very behind on our FEC End-of-Quarter fundraising goal.

I won’t lie, this one stings. Missing our last quarterly goal before Election Day would really put us in a vulnerable position heading into the final few weeks of this race.

If we’re going to overcome the GOP’s millions and defeat JD and his ultra-rich backers, we cannot afford to fall short. Our window is closing, but there’s still time to overcome our fundraising deficit. Can you help me out by chipping in $25 ASAP?

National Republicans are pouring tens of millions of dollars into Ohio, trying to buy this Senate seat so that they can keep lining their pockets. They don’t give a damn about working families.

This race can go one of two ways: either we lose and hand over the Senate majority to McConnell, or we flip this seat, expand our majority, and finally pass some legislation.

That all depends on you, folks.

If we can make up the difference in the next 24 hours, we can erase our deficit and get back on track. Can I count on you to step up and chip in $25 now? I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t important.
