Time is running out for 2019 tax deductions. If you’re planning on filing taxes next year, consider all the ways you can raise your tax credits before the new year—like donating to Green America. We accept all forms of support from cash donations to car donations!

If you have an unwanted car, truck, jet ski, trailer, boat, motorcycle, camper, or heavy equipment - running or not - turn it into a tax-deductible gift for people and the planet.

You have until December 31st, 2019, 11:59pm, to officially pledge your donation and count it as a 2019 charitable contribution.

Completing your donation is easy!

Here’s how it works:

1. Call 855-500-RIDE (7433) or submit the secure online form.
2. Schedule Your Free Pick-up: Within 48 hours, one of our Vehicle Donor Support Representatives will contact you to complete the donation. In most cases, we can schedule the vehicle pick-up with a preferred licensed vendor on the initial call once the donation record has been completed.
3. Receive a Donation Receipt. In most cases, you will receive an initial donation receipt from the tow driver at the time of your vehicle pick-up. This initial acknowledgement will indicate your name as well as the year, make, model and condition of the vehicle you are donating. Within 30 days of the sale, a thank-you letter on behalf of Green America will be mailed to you, which serves as a tax receipt.

Vehicle donations are tax-deductible, and we work to get the highest return per vehicle for you. According to the IRS Guidelines, you may claim fair market value for your donation up to the actual sale value. If your vehicle is sold for more than $500, the maximum amount of your deduction will be the sales price of the vehicle. Individual tax situations vary. For specific tax-related questions, please consult your tax advisor or refer to IRS Publication 4303 to learn more about vehicle donations as tax-deductible gifts.
