One Giant Step for Lucas…
Lucas, a four-year-old penguin at the San Diego Zoo, has new pep in his step, thanks to a pair of orthopedic footwear. Designed to combat a case of chronic bumblefoot, the snazzy sandal-like shoes were created through a partnership between SDZWA and Thera-paw, a company specializing in assistive products for special-needs animals. Now Lucas can put both of his best feet forward!
