Since the repeal of Roe, patients across the country are being denied basic medical treatment under state abortion bans.

I learned that the meds used to soften the cervix & make IUD inserts less painful are no longer an option bc they're also used in abortions. Not only did the GOP take our rights , they're making us suffer more."]
My fellow doctors have heard countless stories about pharmacists refusing to fill prescriptions and women with ectopic (non-viable and life-threatening) pregnancies waiting in hospital beds hoping the lawyers approve an emergency procedure before it ruptures.
This week Republicans in Congress took things even further, introducing a 15-week nationwide abortion ban that would override California’s abortion protections AND legislation that would give pharmacists the power to deny prescription fulfillment if they suspect it could be used for abortion.
Team, I’m livid. As a doctor who has counseled families through these tough decisions before, I believe 100% that abortion access should be a right and that decision should stay between doctor and patient.
I’m up against Trump-endorsed Republican Kevin Kiley this November who has said that he supported the repeal of Roe v. Wade. This is predicted to be one of the tightest races in the country. Any amount you can give ahead of our End-of-Quarter deadline on the 30th helps me flip this seat blue and protect abortion access on the federal level.
