We’re coming up on an important fundraising deadline in just eight days.

I’m sure you’ve been seeing a lot of emails about the “FEC deadline” and
“end of quarter” in your inbox recently, so I wanted to take a moment to
explain what those terms mean and why this deadline is so important.

The FEC — the Federal Election Commission — is tasked with compiling and
reporting campaign finance data. And every quarter, campaigns are required
to submit a public report of what they’ve raised.

The deadline on September 30 is especially critical, because it marks the
final quarterly FEC report before Ayanna is on the ballot this November —
and we need all hands on deck to post a strong report.

A $3 contribution from you today will send a powerful
message to our GOP opponent, the media, and conservative super PACs that
Ayanna has strong support in her fight for bold, progressive change.
