We’ve got exciting news, John.
Congresswoman Shontel Brown’s first stand-alone bill has passed the House and is poised to pass the Senate with the help of Senator Sherrod Brown any day now.
Designating Bedford Heights’ own Kol Israel Foundation Holocaust Memorial as a national memorial in Ohio’s 11th Congressional District, this critical bipartisan bill ensures that the Kol Israel Holocaust Memorial receives the recognition it deserves as likely the oldest of its kind in the United States.
For six decades, the Kol Israel Foundation Holocaust Memorial has educated Ohioans about the horrors of the Holocaust and honors the memories of those lost to this evil. Its dedication as a national memorial is a recommitment to our fight against hate and injustice wherever it may stand.
At a time of rising antisemitism, it is more important than ever to remember the history of the Holocaust and to learn from it. Will you let Shontel know you have her back in the fight against antisemitism and urge the immediate passage of this important bill by adding your name to our petition today?
