Governor Holcomb's Economic Success Update



Indiana’s pipeline of future investment remains FULL!

Under the leadership of Governor Holcomb, Indiana’s economy is continuing to
break records!



Hoosiers are feeling more confident than ever to take a leap of faith to
follow their dreams by opening their own business. Across Indiana,new small
business openings were up 26% last year and 20% the year before!



And companies across the country are flocking to Indiana because of the
economic environment Governor Holcomb and Republicans in the legislature have
created. Last year alone, Indiana welcomed19 companies who relocated as well as
10 new start-up businesses who headquartered here in the Hoosier state.



But word about Indiana’s economic environment is reaching beyond our country’s
borders. Last year, we welcomed47 foreign direct investments totaling $3.55
billion in capital investment!


What does all of this mean for Hoosiers?



Today, Indiana's personal income growth rate is greater than every state we
border while we continue to rank inAmerica's Top 10 States for lowest cost of
living according to the Council for Community and Economic Research. And our
2.8% unemployment rate remains well below the national rate of 3.7%, while our
labor force participation rate continues to rise and unemployment benefit
claims continue to drop.



John, Indiana is continuing to break records thanks to Governor Holcomb’s
leadership and none of this would be possible without the continued support of
