Last month, we launched our campaign to #ProtectTransHealth. We’re collecting comments in support of a new rule released by the Biden-Harris administration that will help protect trans people from discrimination at the doctor’s office - and these protections have never been more needed.

The Administration is collecting public comments until Oct 3rd, which is only 11 days away. Currently, the opposition is overwhelming the comments with anti-trans hate. We need supporters like you who believe in trans rights to rise up and make your voices heard!

We’re hearing from trans people and allies across the nation about the deep need for these protections. One trans woman told us that she transitioned at age 40, and that even in California - where there are more robust protections - she faced barriers every step of the way. “My employer’s health insurance refuses to cover any transition-related care. When I tried to talk to my primary care provider about transition, I got a long transphobic and homophobic rant that was utterly devoid of any medical basis. We need to make it clear to providers that discrimination is unacceptable.”
