It’s time to sound the alarm, John: Michael Flynn is coming to our district this Saturday to rally the right-wing base.

Yup, that’s right — Trump’s National Security advisor who pled guilty to lying about conversations he had with the Russian ambassador to the United States over their interference in our election will be making a campaign stop to rile up the far-right base here in Illinois.

Since Flynn’s disgraceful 22-day stint with the Trump administration, he has become a leader of the QAnon cohort of conspiracy theorists and has spewed Donald Trump’s Big Lie. And according to public reports, when Trump was contesting the results of the 2020 election, Flynn even recommended that Trump suspend the Constitution and hold a new election under the military’s authority.

We might not know exactly what Flynn will say when he takes the stage, but we’re sure his speech will be full of dangerous conspiracy theories, misinformation, and nasty attacks on Democrats like Lauren.
