J.R. Majewski is the Republican running for Congress against my friend Marcy Kaptur.

If you’ve seen him on Twitter or the campaign trail, he’s the one who talks like a tough guy about the combat he saw in Afghanistan.

But that’s all a lie.

He never went to Afghanistan.

He’s a walking example of stolen valor.

I was deployed to Iraq in 2005 and my unit saw some of the worst fighting and heaviest casualties in the war.

I struggle with it to this day.

So it makes me absolutely sick when anyone — but especially someone running to serve like J.R. Majewski — lies about their service in Iraq or Afghanistan.

That’s why I am going to do everything I can to make sure he loses to my friend Marcy. And I am asking for your help to get it done:
