March On: Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

Hey Friend,

We’re continuing our Hispanic Heritage Month celebration by spotlighting another amazing Latinx leader in public service – Congressman Ruben Gallego from Arizona!

Congressman Gallego, the son of Colombian and Mexican immigrants, has represented Arizona in Congress since 2014.

Gallego is known for his bold stance against far-right extremism in Congress, calling out Republicans for their radical agenda and working to protect and strengthen our democracy.

In addition, Gallego has led efforts to improve mental health care and economic opportunity for his fellow veterans, as well as uphold Tribal sovereignty and protect our public lands.

Ruben Gallego: As a proud Latino & member of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, I will never stop fighting for our community.

Prior to his election, Gallego served as a state legislator in the Arizona House of Representatives, where he worked to expand Medicaid and make higher education more affordable. Gallego attended Harvard University as a first-generation student and served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Friend, Ruben Gallego is a strong, progressive fighter in Congress – and you can take action right now to help reelect Rep. Gallego this fall!

Thank you for celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with us!
