On Sept. 21, the House Ways and Means Committee approved mental health legislation that would expand Medicare coverage of some therapists and mental health counselors, as well as initiate efforts to expand the mental health workforce. What we're seeing from the Senate on this issue bodes well for plans to get an agreement over the finish line in December.
