Welp y'all... as you may have seen on my social media, yesterday I was SUPPOSED to participate in a District 69 candidate forum hosted by the Tampa Bay Chamber. Unsurprisingly, my opponent refused to show up.

That's just a sign of the times though, Republicans running scared from the business community! They don't want to answer for their culture-war attacks, their profiting off higher prices and your insurance rates, and talk about real issues facing Florida businesses like our affordability crisis, economic and workforce development, and so much more.



So, because we didn't have the opportunity to do the forum – we hosted our own. It was a bit chaotic, since we had to do it from the car while I drove Lola to her horseback riding lesson in the pouring rain 🤣... but we made it work and answered some good questions from folks that tuned in.



But here's the thing. This forum was supposed to be the one and only opportunity in this entire race for the public to watch my opponent and I debate and lay out the stark contrast between our candidacies. WE know the contrast couldn't be clearer, but it won't mean anything if our voters don't have the opportunity to see that contrast for themselves.



So can you chip in to help us get that message out to as many voters as possible across Brandon, Riverview, and Lithia? [[link removed]] We have just a little over 6 weeks until the election , and just 2 WEEKS until Vote By Mail ballots drop in Hillsborough County , so if you were ever going to give, now is the time.
