Remember this?
NNU President and RN, Jean Ross, attended the CVS Health annual shareholders meeting this past May to ask why they’ve spent millions to block Medicare for All by funding a dark money lobbying group, the Partnership for America's Health Care Future.
At the meeting, CVS refused to commit to publicly and permanently cutting ties with the Partnership, and that’s why we’re doubling down our campaign to put the pressure on CVS.

CVS says that they want to increase health care access to underserved communities. Nurses support Medicare for All because it is the best model to guarantee health care to patients who need it most.
At the shareholder meeting, CVS said: “As a company we clearly believe that we should continue to build on an employer-based health care system.”
We know that one of the major obstacles standing in the way of passing single-payer health care is the influence of dark money and corporate lobbying.
The corporate health care industry is fighting tooth and nail to spread disinformation and buy off our politicians — all for the sake of protecting their bottom line regardless of what’s best for patients or morally right.
Winning Medicare for All will take exposing these health care corporations and making it too risky for them to continue business-as-usual.
