There was an error in the recent Department of Social and Health Services' 2023-25 biennial budget proposal as a result of a mistake in the current base rates used for our employment and community inclusion rates.? The error made the request too high.?

The funding requested should be $170.8 million for the 23-25 biennium rather than the $189.7 million in the published request. This does not change the new rates being proposed, only the amount of money needed to fund the proposed rates.?

We are working with the Office of Financial Management to get this corrected on their website, but wanted you to be aware immediately. Thank you.
