Illinois is not like other states. 

Illinois is a great state made up of leaders like farmers, business owners, mothers, fathers, children, and first responders. It is a state that values freedom, life, diversity, and opportunity. This is why we commit ourselves to the values that strengthen our culture and sustain our nation. We could not do this without the support of great Illinoisans. 

Since the beginning of the Illinois Republican Party, we have held close the uniqueness of our state and its people. We stand for limited government, faith, family, personal responsibility, freedom, the dignity and value of EVERY individual, and the bright future we have.  

We celebrate the history of the Land of Lincoln with the ending of slavery, homestead grants, civil rights, protecting life, and service to the common good. It is with open arms that we welcome all people embracing our history, values, and beliefs. 

It is our mission to provide Illinois with strong leaders who will serve both the state and country with honor and distinction. These leaders are true Illinoisans who know what makes our state great and embrace our values and beliefs. 

We proudly stand with our history in order to advance the ideal of freedom for all people. And we stand with the people of Illinois.
