By now, you have probably seen the news that Florida Governor and wannabe Trump successor Ron DeSantis has taken to trafficking human beings (in a different sense from other morally bankrupt Florida Man, Matt Gaetz…) to “own the libs.”

These deranged political stunts are deliberate attempts to distract voters from the issues that drag down Republican hopes for taking control of Congress in this Midterm election: Trump’s deathgrip on the Party, as he faces criminal charges for mishandling Top Secret/Classified information; and the GOP’s war on women’s control over their own bodies.

While DeSantis and the far right Trump cult engage in literal kidnapping and human trafficking, Ken Buck cheers them on from the comfort of Fox News’ studios. Buck is more than happy to stay in power as Trump and the Proud Boys tear down our democracy bit by bit.
