Kevin McCarthy’s super PAC has officially launched their first TV attack ad against me. It’s running on the airwaves in our district as you read this email.
The ad is completely misleading and, to no one’s surprise, preys on voters’ fear with hysteric, far-right threats about
“radical socialism.”
It’s the same FOX News-style fear-mongering we’ve come to expect from today’s GOP. Personally, I think these attacks ring completely hollow. But when backed up by over
half a million dollars in dark money, they can't be ignored. We need to respond.
Our final FEC filing deadline before the General Election is next Friday. Can you chip in $5 to help us send a message that our people-powered campaign can defeat these attacks? I wouldn’t ask today if this wasn’t important.
