This position is responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of a high-pressure heating plant consisting of three boilers up to 150 H.P. each. The incumbent selected for this position will work with the Chief Engineer, Trade Supervisors, Asset Managers, and tenant agency facility coordinators to ensure that heating, hot water generation and cooling are provided to the Capitol Campus 24 hours/day, 365 days/year.
This position is responsible for ensuring that all work is performed in a safe, neat, and workman like manner, ensures work meets all state and local codes, and that all Powerhouse operations stay within permit values. This role is also responsible for monitoring the daily operations of the Capitol Lake Dam.
