The House passed the Presidential Election Reform Act, a set of reforms to make it more difficult to subvert presidential elections.

The bill passed 229-203, with nine Republicans voting in favor of the electoral changes.

The House's Presidential Election Reform Act is broadly similar to the Senate's Electoral Count Reform Act 2022, though it includes some differences, such as only requiring a fifth of House members to sign onto an objection, rather than a third.

Biden Signs Bill To Eliminate Statute of Limitations for Victims of Child Sex Abuse

President Biden signed a bill on Friday that eliminates the statute of limitations to file civil claims for people sexually abused as minors, known as the Eliminating Limits to Justice for Child Sex Abuse Victims Act. 

By removing the statute of limitations, the bill puts an end to the time limit for victims to file civil claims related to crimes against them as minors, including forced labor, sex trafficking, sexual abuse, and sexual exploitation.
