John, I am speechless.

Thanks to this generous community, we're back on track heading into this final stretch of 2019. Now, if we hit our big year-end goal, we'll be able to expand our gun violence prevention programs and advocacy efforts so that we can protect more children in 2020.

Six days ago marked seven years since my beautiful butterfly Dylan was murdered. Seven years since I've been able to hug my baby boy or hear his infectious laugh.

At Dylan's funeral, I talked about the change that needed to happen so no other parent loses a child to gun violence. Now, we've developed the tools to prevent violence before it claims more lives like Dylan's. I spoke about the impact of our prevention programs on NBC Nightly News last week, and I'd be so grateful if you'd watch to learn about all we're doing with your support:

Life without Dylan will never get easier – but what pushes me forward is knowing there are people like you who support this work so that we can prevent other families from feeling the excruciating pain of losing a child to gun violence.

Thank you again for everything. Together, we're building a safer world for all children.

With love,

Nicole Hockley (Dylan's mom)
