National Good Neighbor Day! ? September 28

How well do you know your neighbors? Spend the day introducing students to Census Bureau data on demographic characteristics with the Getting to Know Your Neighbor activity for grades 5 and 6. Students will use the Quickfacts data tool to identify and explain demographic characteristics such as the percentage of people under age 18 and the share of the population who are female in their community. Don?t forget to greet your neighbors with a smile when you see them!
