Dear John,
North Texas Giving Day is in full swing nationwide!
Supporters around the country are already joining through the force multiplying impact of their gifts with our $50,000 Challenge Grant and the North Texas Giving Day special Bonus Pool.
Today is your last chance to take advantage of this giving event. Join with your best gift today before time runs out!
You and I both know this year is a major tipping point for the future of religious freedom in our country. With potentially two Supreme Court cases on the line, including our recent filing for the Kleins, we need financial support from friends like you.
Your gift today helps us defend Aaron and Melissa Klein so they can get the sweet justice that they deserve as we protect these faith-based business owners who are facing hostile treatment because of their beliefs.
Aaron and Melissa Klein were forced to close their family-owned bakery because they declined a request to create a custom cake for a same-sex wedding.
Even though designing and crafting this cake would be forcing them to convey a message that conflicts with their religious beliefs, the state of Oregon decided to penalize the Kleins with a $135,000 fine and told them that they needed “rehabilitation”.
Bullying these small business owners into reinforcing viewpoints that violate their conscience flies in the face of our fundamental freedoms.
We have to end this hostility towards people of faith in the workplace now.
But this fight can’t be won without your full support.
North Texas Giving Day is a great opportunity for YOU to step up and be a force multiplier for freedom today.
By winning for Aaron and Melissa Klein, we can safeguard the constitutional rights of people of faith in the workplace.
Clearly, the stakes couldn’t be higher for the Kleins right now. And today only, you have the chance to refuel the resources we need to take their case to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Join this special giving event before midnight tonight and let’s keep winning together!
Yes, I will give generously to reap freedom for people of faith!
Gratefully,
Kelly
