Jack, while running in Pennsylvania's U.S. Senate race, New Jersey resident and TV personality Dr. Oz has called Roe v. Wade wrong, said he supports restrictions on abortions, and called all forms of abortion—at any stage at any time—“murder”.

Now, a week after Senate Republicans introduced a national abortion ban bill, he refuses to tell voters how he would vote on it.

Dr. Oz is a nightmare for reproductive freedom. Help progressive Pennsylvania organizations defeat him this fall by donating $10—$1 for each group—today. These groups have a deep reach into multiracial, working-class, and hard-to-reach communities, and a demonstrated ability to register, educate, and mobilize our voters.

In stark contrast to Oz, Daily Kos-endorsed Lt. Gov. John Fetterman is unapologetic about abortion rights, saying "the right to an abortion is non-negotiable." He hates the filibuster and would end it to protect abortion rights, believes health care is a human right, and is a ceaseless advocate for organized labor. Also, he actually lives in Pennsylvania.

FiveThirtyEight has projected a vote margin of just 0.3% in Pennsylvania's U.S. Senate race. That means, at most, a few thousand votes could tip the scales in either direction.

We've been here before, Jack, and we won. In 2020, Daily Kos partnered with progressive organizations in Pennsylvania to help mobilize frontline and hard-to-reach communities. Our partners delivered tens of thousands of voters to the polls that year. President Biden ended up winning the state by a mere 1.2%.

With margins this tight, every single vote matters. A few thousand ballots cast in either direction could mean a Senate where progressive priorities—and not Joe Manchin, or worse, Mitch McConnell—determine the agenda.

I’m asking today if you’ll pitch in $1 to each of the 10 groups—or whatever is meaningful to you—to help progressive groups once again close the vote margin by mobilizing the winning coalition that delivered big in 2020.
