Big Cable is silencing any talk about net neutrality.

John,

Ever wonder why net neutrality never comes up on mainstream cable news channels like CNN and MSNBC? How about this: these two companies are owned by AT&T and Comcast, respectively.1,2

That’s probably why over four hours of democratic debates on MSNBC, there wasn’t a single mention of how—or if—they would restore net neutrality if they were elected. If we don’t sound the alarm on this conflict of interest, we probably won’t hear about it in next week’s debates either.

Add your name to tell CNN: “Don’t let AT&T executives censor you. Ask the Democratic candidates about net neutrality!”

We can’t let this fundamental issue be buried in the debates by powerful ISPs like AT&T and Comcast. The future of a free and open Internet matters. Voters deserve to know who will champion it with protections like the 2015 Open Internet Order or even stronger protections like a ban on discriminatory zero rating, which would ensure low-income users get the same Internet as all other users.

But the corporate-owned media will not let it happen—unless we make them.

Tell CNN: “End the media silence! Ask the candidates where they stand on restoring net neutrality.”

Thanks for all you do,

Shuo with FFTF
