John, this stuck out to me, and I wanted to share it with you:

“7 in 10 Americans don’t think politicians ‘are informed enough’ about abortion to ‘create fair policies’”
— Politico

While this statistic caught my attention, it doesn’t surprise me.

Extremist Republicans choose to ignore the facts, ignore what doctors are saying, and most of all, ignore women. Instead, they get their “information” from other Republicans and right-wing blogs — with zero regard for the truth.

Kari Lake is no different. In fact, she spends more time calling women who have abortions liars, ghouls, murderers, and executioners than listening to the majority of Arizonans who support the right to choose.

John, we can’t let Kari Lake get any closer to the governor’s office. Can you contribute any amount today to help ensure we defeat her and protect reproductive freedom for all Arizonans? [[link removed]]

Before I ever ran for office, I was working at one of the largest domestic abuse shelters in the country. There, I saw firsthand how devastating a lack of access to reproductive health care can be.

From that experience and my own experience as someone who has suffered miscarriages, I can say for certain that politicians like Kari Lake who villanize women seeking abortion care know nothing about what everyday Arizonans need.

We need secure, safe abortion access and quality reproductive care. This idea of turning a woman’s freedom to make her own personal health decisions into a hyperpartisan debate is just downright cruel.

In that same Politico article, they report that 44 percent of people think abortion will become less accessible during their lifetime. It’s hard to imagine that my daughter could grow up with fewer rights in 2022 than I had 50 years ago, but that is a very possible reality if Kari Lake were to win this election. We can’t let that happen.

Please, stand with our campaign and help defend abortion rights here in Arizona by chipping in $10 today. Any amount helps as we ramp up our get-out-the-vote efforts ahead of early voting beginning.
