John, in his quest to undo everything achieved by former Governor Ralph Northam, Gov. Youngkin is taking aim at some of the most vulnerable Virginians: trans youth in our public schools.
Instead of building on the great progress Northam achieved, our governor is using his very limited in-state time to reverse policies meant to protect some of our most vulnerable Virginians. Under the Northam administration, schools built gender-neutral and single-use bathrooms, called students by their preferred names and pronouns, and notified parents of changes to how their child prefers to be addressed only if it was in the best interest of that child. Now, all that is gone.
Youngkin claims to want less government, but he’s using his office to personally dictate what schools teach and how they support students. We need to show him that our children are not political pawns. Virginia’s LGBTQ+ youth need adults, especially those in Richmond, to advocate for them, not attack them. Will you sign our petition to stand up for our LGBTQ+ children and demand Youngkin stop singling them out?

Radical Republicans across the country are attacking our schools’ curricula, and demanding they abandon our trans students. Rather than remembering that he ran as a moderate, Youngkin is joining this hateful chorus, and we need to stand up to him.
John, Youngkin is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He promised Virginians he’d be a moderate, small-government Republican, but he’s pursuing a radical and harmful agenda. All Virginia children deserve love and acceptance, but our governor is throwing them under the bus to score some cheap political points.
