Team,

My daughters start arriving home today and, in just a few days, our annual “gingerbread” decorating contest will commence. (Truth be told the magic is largely made out of graham crackers and cardboard.)

This year's theme is Harry Potter while last year’s theme was Game of Thrones (scroll down to enjoy a picture of that).

What do I want this year? To win the family contest and hit our $15,000 year-end fundraising goal early — and I would SIRIUS-ly love to).

Really, I know it seems like we're always asking for money, but that's because we rely on grassroots contributions to ensure that I can spend more time delivering on my promises to PA-06 — fighting for better health care, for our environment, for our veterans and servicemembers, for our schools and teachers, for our children and for progress for all Pennsylvanians.

Only a small percentage of the people reading are able to give each time we ask. But it's when these efforts are combined that those donations power this work we do across the Commonwealth.

So, I'm asking if you can chip in $15 to ensure that I can close this gap before my deadline so I can keep fighting for you in Washington. [[link removed]]

I so appreciate your support, every step of the way!

We've got work to do,

Chrissy Houlahan
