Hi there, Test. It's Mandela Barnes – I'm the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin.

Here are a few things Cheri Beasley and I have in common:

We're both running to flip Republican-held Senate seats from red to blue.

We're both up against millions of dollars in outside spending from Republican dark-money groups.

We both have the opportunity to make history as the first Black U.S. Senators from our respective states.

And we're both facing a very important FEC fundraising deadline on September 30.
Our campaigns are relying on a very large number of grassroots donations in order to stay on track to meet our goals before this FEC deadline.

These goals are not arbitrary. They're what we need to raise in order to win Wisconsin, win North Carolina, and expand the Senate majority.

We simply cannot afford to come up short, which is why I need to ask you today:

When you look at the Senate map for 2022, there are very few states where Democrats have a realistic opportunity to win Republican-held seats.

Two of those states are North Carolina and Wisconsin.

So if you've been wondering how you can best make an impact in this election, look no further than these two Senate races. It is hard to overstate just how important North Carolina and Wisconsin will be to determining whether Democrats will expand the Senate majority.
